Al Scott is a RIBA Chartered Architect and Co‑Founding Director of IFDO. He leads the practice’s technical and environmental agenda with a pragmatic yet visionary approach, championing craftsmanship, precision, and circular economy principles across complex projects. He is driven by the conviction that all built projects must deliver positive social impact while touching lightly on the planet.
Al directs projects across London and the South East, and is leading the development of an innovative carbon-neutral modular system for education, workspace, and housing. He regularly lectures on architectural practice and serves as a visiting critic at Westminster University. He mentors through the Social Mobility Foundation, is a school governor, sits on the advisory board of ADEPT® Modular, and is a non-executive director at Natural Building Systems.
